Furniture restoration is one of our core subjects.  We run long and short courses in furniture restoration, for career changers and people doing it for fun, but they all have one thing in common – you will learn how to do things the right way, so that your furniture not only looks good, but will last a lifetime.

Furniture Restoration - Wednesday Evening

12 week project based furniture restoration, re-upholstery, re-making, re-vamping or re-configuring session, 6.30pm to 9.30pm, taught by Amanda Girling-Budd.

Furniture Restoration - Five Day Intensive

Five day project based session in which you will restore a piece of furniture. Bring a piece of old, damaged, or worn furniture and we will teach you the skills to make it beautiful again.

Furniture Fix

A one day session where you can bring a piece of furniture and do whatever you need to do to fix it. We will teach you the necessary skills. You can do a straight restoration treatment with disguised repairs, or you can do something more adventurous with it, upcycling or reconfiguring it or just keeping your repairs obvious instead of hiding them.

Professional Furniture Restoration - Beginner Level - One Year

A one year course in furniture restoration, designed for would be furniture restorers, and dealers who want to do their own restoration. Taught on Tuesdays. You can progress to an Advanced Level in Year 2.

Professional Furniture Restoration - Advanced Level - One Year

An advanced Furniture Restoration course, for those who already have some basic skills, or who have completed the Beginner Level of the Furniture Restoration course.
