Professional Furniture Restoration - Advanced Level - One Year

An advanced Furniture Restoration course, for those who already have some basic skills, or who have completed the Beginner Level of the Furniture Restoration course.

Teaching includes marquetry and the restoration of marquetry, gilding and the restoration of gilded objects, wood carving, lacquer and japanning and the restoration of lacquered objects, and picture and mirror frame restoration.

Students will be expected to complete a major practical project and a research project.

Teaching is one day a week, on Wednesdays.

Three twelve week terms a year, roughly coinciding with school term times.

There is an early booking discount of 10% of the fee for the year, if you pay the first instalment by 31st July, and subsequent instalments are paid on time, which will be applied to the final instalment.
