Repost from @highcroft_interiors: "This Georgian corner chair came to us in quite a state. Tenons replaced with dodgy dowels and screws and brackets here and there. No drop in frame and a very tired looking finish. You’ve seen it appear on the Instagram before. Now it’s finally finished and back home with its owner. Frame restoration wise, it has been quite a journey (for the chair and for Janet!). Thankfully we have had the benefit of some expert advise, huge thanks to @schoolofstuff for help in getting the chair apart and remaking some of the tenons. And to @garethrees75 for his massive help in gluing back together and making a new ear, toe and that offset tenon (😱). It does look fabulous and we are very pleased with this one!"
