Cabinet Making - Five Day Intensive

Spend five days with us learning woodworking skills. The course will introduce you to the use and maintenance of cabinet making hand tools and you will be taught a wide range of joinery techniques. The project for the course is an ash A frame Japanese style stool which has angled joints. We will teach you how to make joints to use on this and future furniture and DIY projects. The tutor for this course is John Cross, who is a cabinet maker and furniture conservator of many years experience, and a gifted teacher.

The course is suitable for all skills levels, including beginners. This is good follow on course for students who have completed our Basic Skills Cabinet Making course.

Teaching is Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
